Two years ago, I purchased a Splash Drone – this quadrocoptor could take off and land in water, yes even salt water!  Trying it out at home, found that there were too many trees around to learn to fly.  Once the replacement parts were installed and a new case arrived, off to the boat it went. Unfortunately, I am having difficulty obtaining replacement parts for the camera gimbal.  I disconnected and duct taped the motors to hold them level and plum, relative to the drone.  Normally these motors keep the camera level and plumb relative to the planet, but at least I could take some videos.  Hopefully there will be enough of them for the drone to have its own page in this website, but, for now, here is the maiden wet voyage footage.
